The benefits of API access to the ConfirmHub are numerous. The ConfirmHub API uses standard SOAP web services calls, which simplifies the integration process. For additional security, all API calls are encrypted under HTTPS. The API also supports both data submission and querying, and data can be queried using various filters, including:
- Submitter type (broker, exchange, trading company)
- Commodity
- Trade Date
- Match status
ConfirmHub also supports a ‘push’ API so that your data is sent to you as soon as it is available. For example, a participating company hosts a SOAP‑based web service, which would receive trades directly from the ConfirmHub. Trades are then delivered to the API as soon as they are updated and available on the ConfirmHub.
